The NEBRASKAland Foundation recognizes Nebraskans who have distinguished themselves and the state.  Over the years the award designations have changed.  The Pioneer, Wagonmaster, and Trailblazer awards became part of the NEBRASKAlander award in 2011.  The list of awardees beginning in 1982 is impressive.  Dr. Tom Osborne heads the list as the first Distinguished NEBRASKAlander.  Read further and one will find artists, politicians, military generals, academicians, clergy, and others from all areas of the state.
